Recycling Drop-Off Program
Residents can drop-off unwanted recyclables at no charge during normal business hours at the Lancaster Landfill. Acceptable items include paper and plastic products, metal, and glass. Unincorporated County Residents
We are committed to a cycle of sustainability. When we use less, reuse more, and convert the materials we reclaim into new resources of energy, we improve business performance and reduce environmental impact.
The Lancaster Landfill and Recycling Center offers additional recycling programs for unincorporated county residents to reduce illegal dumping in the Antelope Valley.
- FREE RESIDENTIAL DISPOSAL DAYS – Unincorporated Residents can drop-off up to (1) ton of trash on Saturday, April 6 and Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 8 am – 2 pm.
- FREE BULKY ITEM DROP-OFF – Residents can drop-off one (1) bulky item (ex. sofa, table, mattress, etc.) per year at no charge
- FREE WASTE TIRE DROP-OFF – Residents can drop-off up to four (4) waste tires per year at no charge.
---This program is for unincorporated county residents only. Proof of residency required such as a valid driver’s license with a current address.
