Antelope Valley Recycling and Disposal Facility Recycle Program
The Antelope Valley Recycling and Disposal Facility accepts greenwaste, woodwaste, dirt, sod, concrete, asphalt, mattresses, appliances, and tires for recycling at a nominal fee. Visit the 2024 Service and Fee Schedule for landfill rates and complete list of acceptable materials.
Recycling Drop-Off Program
Residents can drop-off unwanted recyclables at no charge during normal business hours at the Palmdale Landfill. Acceptable items include paper and plastic products, metal, and glass. Antelope Valley Environmental Collection Center
At the AVECC residents can dispose of household hazardous waste (e.g., paint, oil and batteries), as well as old electronics (e.g., TVs, monitors, computers and printers).
The center is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 9 am until 3 pm, and is located at 1200 W. City Ranch Road in Palmdale. For more information, visit http://dpw.lacounty.gov/epd/hhw/AboutAvecc or call 1-888-CLEAN LA.
No business or commercial waste will be accepted.
AVECC 2024 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
The AVECC will be closed in observance of the Presidents' Day, Labor Day, and Columbus Day holidays.
