Green Waste

Place loose green waste materials in the grey green waste cart. Set cart out for collection on your regularly scheduled day. DO NOT BAG YOUR GREEN WASTE. Please make sure the lid is closed and the opening faces the street.

Acceptable Materials for Green Waste Cart:

Grass
Weeds
Green plants
Tree limbs
Wood chips
Dead plants
Brush
Garden trimmings
Leaves

Non-Acceptable Materials for Green Waste Cart:

Branches more than 5 feet in length, more than 6 inches in diameter or weighing more than 50 lbs.
Tree stumps
Bamboo
Soil
Dirt
Rocks
Concrete
Asphalt
Plastic bags
Animal waste
Palm tree branches
Yucca plants
Ice plants
Painted wood
Treated wood

Holiday Tree Recycling
Beginning December 26 and ending January 14, Waste Management will collect holiday trees free of charge. Trees must be stripped of all ornaments, garlands, tinsel, flocking, stands, and placed on the curb near your carts, on your regularly scheduled collection day.
