California Legislation – AB 341 & AB 1826
The state of California requires commercial enterprises and public entities that generate four or more cubic yards of waste per week, and multi-family housing facilities with five or more units, to adopt recycling practices. Your local Waste Management team is available to help you set up collection service and provide education materials to your employees and residents. Stay Clear of Additional Contamination and Overage Charges

Only place allowable materials in your recycling and yard waste containers. The Contamination charge is $63.08, per incident per cart.

Charges for overfilled carts are $174.88 per cart, per incident. Follow the rules below to avoid surcharges.
