America Recycles Day

America Recycles Day Celebration – Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Waste Management is hosting an America Recycles Day celebration at the Sacramento Recycling and Transfer Station located at 8491 Fruitridge Road in Sacramento.

Join us for a free, fun family event where you and your kids can learn how to Recycle Right! Play games, win prizes and ask all the questions you have been curious or confused about with recycling. Get a behind the scenes tour of the recycling facility and see what happens when the most common contaminants get into the system.

Kids will have a blast bouncing, creating arts and crafts projects with recyclable materials, having their face painted and exploring big trucks including garbage, fire, police and construction equipment. This is a great learning opportunity in a fun and family setting.

Join us rain or shine! The entire event will be moved inside the giant recycling facility if weather is an issue.
